Using the figures fairly
Cost
None. No account or registration is asked for.
What you may do
Work out figures for your own house, keep or print what you get, and link to whichever page you like. Quoting a figure is fine when you credit the page it came from; copying whole pages onto another site is not. The NAIC averages are credited to the NAIC and, for 2013 to 2022, to the Insurance Information Institute's tabulation; the NAIC does not endorse conclusions drawn from its data.
Links to other sites
Links lead to regulators, FEMA, the GAO, the Florida Legislature and, from the sources page, the survey and comparison sites whose numbers we use, so that every figure can be checked where it was published. What those sites say is their own responsibility.
Names and ownership
Text, code and drawings are our own work, except where a page names another source. Names of companies, agencies and programs identify them and imply no endorsement either way.
No warranty
Everything here comes without any warranty; Limits of a premium range explains what the figures can and cannot do.
